Yin & Yang Yoga-Workshop

Let the pose come to you." Ruhe. Grenzen.

Back in Munich I continued practicing yoga - during my roadtrip through the U.S. a very good friend of mine, signed us up for a yin-yang-yoga-workshopt with Katja Kirchhofer (in @Peace center Munich) and after a week of jetlag, I was really looking forward to this workshop.
The workshop consisted two parts. During the first - Yin - we went into Asansas and hold them each for three minutes. This sounds pretty relaxing but it wasn't. The saying, that I got to know at Purusha Yoga in San Francisco, came back into my mind: "Don't push it. Let the pose come to you." Silence. Stillness. Physical limits. Exertion and relaxation.
It got more dynamic during the second part - Yang. There we fulfilled (similar to what I experienced at the Vinyasa Class at Yoga Soup, Santa Barbara) certain poses and each of them connected to our breath. And I noticed, that the Yin-part of this workshop already made a difference to my body (or those yoga-classes I participated in in California...).
In retrospect I definetly feel this workshop in my muscles and bones and am already looking forward to my next class with Katja!
